Paloma Perez-McEvoy


Ms. Perez-McEvoy joined the Marathon team in August 2018 after more than 15 years of experience in the political arena, most recently as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Los Angeles City Councilmember Curren D. Price Jr.

As the Director of Planning and Economic Development, Ms. Perez-McEvoy represented the Council Office on all land use and economic development matters involving legal, political, and community relations issues, including the development of the Banc of California soccer stadium in Exposition Park, the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, and the expansion and modernization of the Los Angeles Convention Center.

A graduate of the University of California, Davis and McGeorge Law School at the University of Pacific, Ms. Perez-McEvoy previously worked as a consultant for RMP Strategies and associate legal counsel for Consumer Attorneys of California in Sacramento before joining the staff of former LA City Councilmember Tony Cardenas as legislative director.

Ms. Perez-McEvoy volunteers her free time with several community organizations, serving on the board of directors of the Weingart YMCA Aquatic and Wellness Center and the Salvadoran American Leadership and Education Fund (SALEF).
